“When inward tenderness finds the secret hurt, pain itself will crack the rock and Ah! Let the soul emerge.” -Rumi

As a therapist, it’s my passion and calling to devote my life to serving my clients in honoring their soul’s emerging process and their healing journey. I believe that all of us have the internal resources (i.e., inner teacher, inner healer, inner wisdom) required for personal growth and awakening. Through offering unconditional positive regard and acceptance in a safe, compassionate, and loving container, therapists can help clients see the root of pain and suffering, identify the repeated patterns that lead to anxiety and depression, recognize the constructs that get us stuck, receive new perspectives to approach life’s challenges, and gain insights into our fullest potential. That way, clients can embark on a journey towards self discovery, self-acceptance, self-realization, wholeness, and a life of connection, empowerment, inner-peace, inner-strength, integrity, creativity, authenticity, love, joy, and vibrancy.

Background

As every snowflake is different, each one of us is special. I use my intuition and sensitivity to adapt my approach to your unique wants and needs. It brings me deep joy to meet you where you are at. My theoretical orientation includes but is not limited to EFT(Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy), gestalt therapy, transpersonal psychology (including spiritual emergency), relational psychoanalysis, attachment theory, trauma informed, strength based, and resilience focused approach. Psychedelic integration, social justice, racial equity, diversity, inclusivity, mindfulness, and cultural competence and humility are all important parts of my practice.

Training and Education

I come from a multicultural and bilingual (English and Chinese) background. I have a Master of Arts (MA) in Integral Counseling Psychology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). I was among the inaugural cohort of the Center for Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research (CPTR) certificate program at California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). I have completed a ten-month Keys to the Enneagram training program with the Diamond Approach. I have also attended the Somatic Couples Therapy training program with the Couples Center.

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” Khalil Gibran
