Stephanie Francis-Ecoffey, AMFT,

Stephanie is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2019. Prior to practicing with The Couples Center, Stephanie trained at the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy.

Stephanie is passionate about creating a space where couples can feel held and supported in their relationship. Her goal is to create a safe and brave space where each partner can trust bringing all parts of themselves in exploring the joys and challenges of their relationship.

Stephanie enjoys supporting explorations of personal experience and being seen within the relationship. Their therapeutic approach to working with couples is eclectic in nature and pulls from their learnings in Somatic Psychology, Attachment Theory, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Stephanie also brings the intersections of her personal identity and life experiences to this work as a queer biracial black femme.
